SPECIFIC CONCERNS:
・Exhaust gas emissions: observe clear division of responsibilities between engine manufacturer, marinizer and boat builder.
・Sound emission: overall responsibility is with the boat builder only.
・Alignment with the U.S. Domestic Marine Rule could not be achieved, as EC and industry gave priority to alignment with IMO and EU 97/68/EC (non-road machinery engines) with respect to test methods.
