The results prove that GLONASS still can be used as an independent navigation system that allows to determine a user position.
GLONASS has bad potential reliability due to constellation structure now it has only 10 satellites from 24. And this is the reason why actual reliability is only 76% of availability (due to bad DOP)
また、GPS World 2000年2月号に以下の情報が掲載されていた。
・ GLONASS 10衛星の内、3つは、plane-1上、6つはplane-2上、残りの1つは、Plane-3上にあるとのこと。
・ ロシア政府は、3月上旬にProtonロケットを使って、GLONASS衛星を3つ打ち上げるらしい。
・ ヨーロッパのGalileoプログラムの代表と、ロシアのGLONASSオフィシャルとが1999年10月28日に会合を持ち、2つのプログラム間の協力の可能性について討議したとのこと。
