8.3 Amendment 2 to IEC 60092-202, Ed.4 Socket-outlet circuits fir portable hand-held tools
18/841/CD-18/858/CC
18(Houston/Sec)9
Mr.Borstlap was given the floor to lead the committee through the discussion. He complained about too weak participation in the PT, which created a very difficult situation.
He proposed to redraft the document to include both suggested systems in order inter alia to meet the CA comments. On no.29 concerning welding equipment this was regarded as "useful information" and therefore kept in. A clearer definition of hand-held tool was regarded as necessary. This would be looked after. Mr.Borstlap would contribute to the rewriting of the document under the convenorship of Mr.Meijer.
On no.51 and 54 there could be a confusion of consepts and the new CD would be amended accordingly.
On no.61 Mr.Borstlap considered the UK comment to be correct and he would incorporate the necessaty requirements.
A new CD for comments was anticipated to be circulated in January 1999.
The Chairman thanked Mr.Borstlap for his efforts.
