It was noted that the closing date for voting had passed and that the result was positive. The substantial comments were dealt with by WG 22, which would meet this afternoon.

The committee noted that the CDV had been approved, but that the comments received were of considerable complexity.
The DE delegation expressed some disappointment that the participation in WG 21 was too meager.
The Chairman reminded that there were 7 members in WG 21.
The discussion was deferred until the day after when Mr.Harms will present the observations of the WG.

8.1 Draft IEC 61892-5 Mobile and fixed offshore units

The Chairman proposed to restrict the discussion to the items which had not been accepted by the WG 18. Document 18/856/CC was confirmed to be the same as document 18(Houston/Sec)7.
The PL delegation withdrew their comment on Clause 10.9.3.
On Clause 12.6.4 the PL delegation was asked to propose a new wording. The matter would be discussed with the Convenor of WG 18 during the course of the meeting.
Clause 13.2.8: The comment had not been submitted by DE and was therefore ignored.
It was stated by the Convenor that this document when published would replace IEC 92-505.
The committee agreed that the document adjusted as given above will go forward as a CDV
8.2 Revision of IEC 60092-504 Electrical installations in ships
Part 504 Special features - Control and instrumentation

The Convenor of WG 16 said that several changes to the CD based on the comments received had been made in Houston. At the next stage the document would be circulated as a CDV. New target date would be proposed by the new Convenor of WG 16.
The committee noted that the document amended as indicated above will go forward as a CDV.
