3.1 Revision of Documents: 92-401, 92-305, 92-202
4 Current Work - In general, the comments of the Convener found in the documents of 4.1 were accepted with little or no modification. However, the issue regarding the correct ventilation requirements for batteries remains open.
Regarding this issue, the Convener will put forth the majority's recommendations with documentation supporting the proposal in the CDV.
It was recommended by the Working Group and concurred with by the Convener, that the work of the Working Group should be put forth as a CDV.
4.1 Documents reviewed: 18/832/NWP, 18/833/NWP, 18/834/NWP
5 Proposal for Future Work - It has been brought to the attention of the Convener that it is the desire of the Secretary, et al, to have the battery specific requirements of 60092-401 and 60092-202 merged into 60092-305. The Convener agrees with the Secretary on this proposal. The Converter believes that a majority of the technical issues regarding batteries and their installation have been addressed and the bringing together the requirements into one document will not be too arduous of a task.
Note: The Convener requests the assistance of the Secretary in determining whether a new NWP needs to be issued for the proposal to merge all documents or if the changes, which will be editorial in nature, can be forwarded in the recommended CDV.
6 Liaison Organizations - It was agreed, that the subject of a liaison with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F25 be forwarded to the Secretary and Chairman for consideration. If acceptable to the Technical Committee, the Convener has agreed to assist the Secretary and Chairman with establishing the liaison.
7 Future Working Arrangements - All future work will continue as previous, that is, by correspondence.
