Report on the Liaison with ISO/TC 188

The following agreements were reached with ISO/TC 188
1. Due to the urgency of the mandated small craft standards to support the Recreational Craft Directive, it was agreed that the ISO 10133 and ISO 13297 should be subjected to repeat parallel DIS/PREN equiry.
2. It was agreed that a joint standard should not ve elaborated now but later in. As a consequence, it was decided that ISO/TC 188 PROCEED with the current(ISO-CEN Parallel) processing of drafts on extra-low-voltage d.c. installations and a.c. single-phase installation up to 250 V for craft up to 24 m Lh.
3. IEC/TC 18 will continue to develop a.c. and d.c. installation for craft of 24 m and greater, and also for 3-phase a.c. installations in all crafts, including those below 24 m Lh and IEC will take into account the requirements of the ISO standards so as not to create a conflict in this respect.
4. A joint IEC/TC18/WG22-ISO/TC188/WG10 working group is planned to be established as soon as their respective standards have been issued.
