(d) ATP System
The ATP system, consisting of wayside units and on-board units, will be of a type to provide for full bi-directional operation, to display a permissible speed in the driver's cab but trigger automatic emergency brake application when any train speed exceeds the authorized limit. An intermittent system with beacons will be employed to transmit data to and flom on-board antennas.
We assume an information transmission system with ground coils (beacons) and on-board antennas between trains and the ground side.
(e) Other Facilities
For complete signaling systems the other facilities such as wayside signals, power-operated switch machines, track circuits, power supplied, cables, including materials will be employed as same as been used for existing railways.
7.3.3 Communication System Plan
(1) Provision for passenger Services
Public address systems will be provided for passenger services, together with the train operation guidance display panels as a signaling subsystem, and also CCTV systems to monitor safety for passengers, train movements in operation; and criminal and mischievous activities against station facilities.
(2) Communications Network
The communicatious network, including the circuits of cables, to control and monitor each train movement and to provide for passenger and ELRT business services will be constructed to allow these subsystems such as train describers, train dispatching, public address and CCTV systems operate locally but relationally as much as possible within the
