4.3.2 Sensitivity analysis

 

Sensitivity analysis were conducted with nine factors for the year 2011 as shown in Table 4.3-3. In the base case modal split of ELRTS was calculated for BMRT network with a ELRTS fare 2.2 times the ordinary bus fare at four km stage. The result shows that increase of scooter and car ownership did not much affect the modal split of the LRT. Increase of per capita "Other" and Education trips also did not affect that. However, the decrease of vehicle speed and the change in minimum links to use ELRTS obviously affected the modal split of ELRTS. The minimum link user of ELRTS should be at least added to demand for the links more than 500 meter.
