At first, the motion of the ship in regular waves is simulated in time domain. Figure 7 shows the typical slew motion of the ship in regular waves.

The 1st and 2nd order wave forces are considered, and the mean values along the various incident wave angles are plotted in Figure 8 and Figure 9.

Figure 10 shows the change of ship's center on the sea surface. Figure 11 is the time history of varying heading angle and tension of the mooring line.

Next, the motion of the ship in irregular waves is simulated. Figure 12 shows the behavior of the moored ship in irregular waves. It shows similar behavior with the slew motion in regular waves. Figure 13 shows the change of ship's center in irregular waves.
