2: Higher magnification of part of the maxilla seen in the previous figure. Notice the extra cusp (arrow) in the right 3rd molar, this is Carabelli's cusp. Notice also the oblique position of the right 2nd molar (arrowhead).
3: Auricular surfaces of both iliac bones belonging to the previous skeleton (T.34; S.22-38). Notice the abnormal shape of the auricular surfaces. Notice also the cavity seen deep to the articular surface on both sides.
4: Lower parts of right and left femora belonging to an old female of more than 60 years old (T.34; S.22-40). Notice the marked limping and osteophytosis of the margins of the articular surfaces of both condyles.
5: Upper parts of the right and left tibiae of the previous skeleton (T.34; S.22-40). Notice the lipping, roughness and osteophytosis of the margins of the articular surfaces of both condyles.
6: A- Both the first metatarsal and the proximal phalanx of the big toe of the previous specimen (T.34; S.22-40) showing signs of osteoarthritis of the metatarsophalangeal joint in the form of lipping, pitting and irregular margins of the articular surfaces (arrows).
