Founded in 1896, The Hakodate Dock Co., Ltd. has the longest history in Japan's shipbuilding industry, and we have developed into the only shipyard and manufacturer of heavy industrial machinery in northern Japan.

These have been well received for our excellent performance and highly evaluated by our respective owners.
Our ship repair division, favored by the location near the major sea routes of the North Pacific, are in full operation, repairing or converting various kinds of ships under domestic and foreign flags including cargo ships, patrol boats and work ships.

Namura Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has about 90 years history since foundation in 1911 in Osaka. In order to meet the demand for larger ships and progresses of shipbuilding technology, we have completed a new shipyard in Imari, northwestern part of Kyusyu in 1974.

Onomichi Dockyard Co., Ltd. was established in 1943. The major business fields include shipbuilding and ship repair. Moreover, active in the fields of steel structures and the management of civil engineering projects. We have been building various types of vessels such as Ferryboats, Ro-Ro Cargo/Passenger Ships, Bulk Carriers and Crude/Product Oil Tankers. The annual production capability of shipbuilding is approximately 500,000 DWMT, and 4,000,000 DWMT of repair ships by making use of one building berth and two repair docks. We received ISO 9001 certification in 1998 and we take all possible precautions and management strategies in order to control and ensure product quality. There are approximately 500 employees in total. In order to handle any situation, we are regularly supported by approximately 400 to 450 skilled workers sent from other companies.
