SYLFF Program:
The program supports the education of graduate students with high potential for future leadership, both in public life and private endeavors. It covers graduate studies in: 1) international economics, and 2) international law.
Selection Process:
The availability of SYLFF fellowships is announced through the university's departments encompassing the social sciences and humanities. Applicants are required to present their research plans to the selection committee. The criteria used in the evaluation of the applicants' presentations are: academic excellence, involvement in social activities, published materials, and recommendations.

SYLFF Program:
The program supports the education of graduate students with high potential for future leadership. The program covers graduate studies in 1) international economics, 2) international law, 3) language and literature, and 4) history and population of northwestern China.
Selection Process:
Applications are pre-screened by academic committees on the departmental level. The university's SYLFF committee makes the final decisions. Fellowships are usually for US$230. To date two hundred ninety-two (292) fellowships have been awarded.
