12. PRESENT ISSUES AND CHALLENGES
Our association was established in 1990 according to great social and economical changes in Slovakia. Our unique feature in comparison with similar organizations is that it connects 7 separated national associations, which is the result of historical development. Program of association mentioned above is very suitable completed by our associations. Association in a very short time widened its program for its own members and general population as well. The main activities are organized by a project "Slovakia on Move". Great attention is also paid to wide and to improve the program for more social and health and age groups.
The biggest problem is lack of financial funds from general and own sources. It is seen especially in lack of promotion of elementary parts, publishing leaflets and materials, training activities, buying of sports equipment and material.
The second problem is organizational structure, SSFAA doesn't have its own local settings, influences only by compound associations and their members is not efficient. That is why our association tends to establish its own regional centers for its final and decisive development.
