(iv) All fires, leakage's or spills of fuels and oils must be reported immediately to Marina management.

 

MARINA EQUIPMENT

 

(i) All defects in, or malfunctions of Marina equipment are to be reported immediately to Marina management.

 

(ii) The tying up or fastening of vessels to Marina power and water pedestals is not permitted.

 

SEWAGE SPILLAGE

 

(i) In the event of a leak or in-line rupture during pump-out, the pump will be stopped immediately and any spillage cleaned-up. If necessary, staff will deploy the floating boom in order to contain the spillage.

 

MANAGEMENT OBJECTIVES

 

(i) Ensure that Marina users and the public generally are provided with clean and appropriate facilities and clearly defined signs for observance of all matters of safety and health and environmental aspects.

 

Example:

'Swimming, diving and underwater activities within the Marina are not permitted'.

 

1.4 MAINTENANCE OF MARINA EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES

 

1.4.1 Maintain the structural and operational integrity of both the Marina infrastructure and Marina equipment so as to ensure safety for Marina users and to prevent adverse environmental impact.
