1. Outline of Company
CHEMIKALIEN SEETRANSPORT GMBH (CST) was founded in 1969 as an affiliated company to KG Marine Service GmbH & Co. for management and operation of chemical carrier tonnage, in which Marine Service had ownership. Thereafter CST became involved in the LPG, Ethylene and LNG trade and has since then specialized in this and other sophisticated shipping sectors.
In November 1990 CST formed together with Hanseatic Shipping Company a joint venture named SS ANNABELLA TRAINNGSHIP LTD utilizing the LNG/LPG carrier ANNABELA as a training ship to meet the shortage of qualified gas tanker personnel.
In 1995 CST passed successfully its certification to the ISMA-Code and in September 1996 obtained its Document of Compliance to the ISM-Code.
