DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

The Company is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, to ensure the safe operation of all Company ships and to maintain safety policies in line with current industry standards. To this end, the Company policy is based on the Guidelines for the Control of Drugs and Alcohol Onboard Ship, issued by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum.

A seafarer or other person onboard who is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs presents a hazard to the safe operation of the ship, a hazard to himself or herself and a hazard to other persons onboard. It is the policy of the Company to ensure that all persons aboard do not create such hazards.

The procedures specified in SP3.W8: Marine Personnel Administration, relating to alcohol and drugs are to ensure that this policy is followed.

 

PERSONNEL POLICY

It is the policy of Denholm Ship Management (Holdings) Ltd, and Denholm Ship Management Ltd (the Company) to provide all employees with a safe, supportive working environment which fosters open, participative communications and promotes equality and equal opportunity.

Recruitment procedures are designed to encourage advancement from within, and each employee is provided with clearly defined responsibilities and training opportunities.
