FUJITRANS WORLD 1,533-unit Car Carrier
The 1,533-unit car carrier FUJITRANS WORLD was completed in January 2000 at Shin Kurushima Dockyard Co., Ltd.to the order of FT Logistics S.A., Inc.
The vessel has eight (8) car decks including one (1) liftable deck for stowing large-sized vehicles such as buses, trucks, CKD, etc. The vessel has a shore ramp on the port side aft part operated by hydraulic winch, which has strength enough for loading heavy cars for a total weight of 50 tons.
An electric motor driven bow thruster with a 15-ton thrust is fitted on the bow for effective maneuvering in port.
