CITY OF PARIS 802-unit Car Carrier
The 802-unit car carrier CITY OF PARIS was completed in September 1999 at Hiroshima works of the Shin Kurushima Dockyard Co., Ltd.to the order of Euro Marine Ships Inc.of Liberia.
The vessel has 7 fixed car decks, and about 80% of those decks have a clear height of 2.1 m for stowing high car such as recreational vehicles (RV), mall trucks, heavy trucks, etc.
The vessel is equipped with a stern ramp on center aft, which has strength enough for loading large-sized vehicles with a total weight of 15 tons.
An electric motor driven bow thruster with a 7-ton thrust is fitted on the bow for effective maneuvering in port.
The vessel complies with LRS "Ice Class 1D" notation and UMS for engine room unmanned operation.
