EISHUN 2,905-unit Car Carrier
The car carrier EISHUN, built t Setoda Works of Naikai Zosen Corpor tion, was delivered to Libero Panama S.A. on September 22, 1999.
Features
1. The vessel is multi-deck roll-on / roll-off type singlescrew diesel-powered car carrier with its engine room arranged aft. She has altogether 11 car decks consisting of three under and eight above the freeboard deck.
2. The fixed Nos.5 and 7 car decks of the vessel are built strong enough for heavy vehicles (construction vehicles, etc.), and other decks are for passenger cars.
3. Two movable decks are provided.
4. The roll-on / roll-off arrangements include shore ramps toward the bow and the stern both on the starboard side, and vehicles roll onto and from each hold via hold ramps.
5. To facilitate maneuvering for berthing and unberthing, Schilling rudder is provided, and the bow is equipped with a side thruster.
