Performance standards for marine Transmitting Heading Devices (THDs)
1. 範囲
1.1 THD(Transmitting Heading Device：船首方位信号伝達装置)は、船の真方位情報を提供する電子装置である。
1.2 THD装置は、決議A.694(17)*に規定される一般的な必要条件と、使用されるセンサ部分の関連基準に加えて以下の最小要件を満足すること。(*IEC 60945)
1.3 適用するセンサ部分に対してIMO性能基準が特別に地理的な運用範囲を規定ない場合は、THDは少なくとも北緯70°南緯70°の範囲で運用されるものとする。
2. 適用
2.1 この推奨規定を満足するTHDは、SOLAS条約第V章に規定される船首方位のために使用されることができる。
2.2 さらに、このTHD性能基準はHSCコード13章で規定される船首方位情報を供給する適切な装置の搭載要件の動的要件を満足すること。
