.8 ISO/CD 17338, Ships and marine technology - Symbols for structural fire protection, WG 3, sub-stage 20.99. At its last meeting, the Sub-committee achieved consensus on a Committee Draft. Registration and balloting as CD pends completion of technical editing by the Secretary.
.9 ISO/CD 17339, Ships and marine technology - Sea anchors for survival craft and rescue boats, WG1, sub-stage 40.20. DIS balloting will terminate 2001-01-03.
.10 ISO/NP17631, Ships and marine technology - Safety plans for fire protection, life saving appliances and means of escape - Arrangement, WG3, sub-stage 40.20. At its last meeting, the Sub-committee achieved consensus on resolution of the extensive technical comments on the CD, as well as helpful "pre-editing" input from the ISO/CS editors, and the document was accordingly forwarded to ISO/CS for DIS balloting. The DIS has been posted on the ISO/CS web site for voting from 2000-08-17 to 2001-01-17. The IMO FP Sub-Committee will decide on acceptance of the document as a replacement for IMO Res. A.654(16) at its meeting 8-12 January 2001.
