Revision of this standard has been consolidated with development of ISO/CD15516, Ships and marine technology -- Launching appliances for davit-launched lifeboats, which is on the work programme of SC 4. ISO/CD15516 was circulated for ballot 2000-04-11, with a closing date of 2000-08-30, and will be discussed at the meeting of SC 4 scheduled to be held in conjunction with the 19th TC8 plenary in Gdansk.
.6 ISO 7061:1993, Shipbuilding -- Aluminium shore gangways for seagoing vessels, periodical review 1998. The standard was confirmed.
.7 ISO 7364:1983, Shipbuilding and marine structures -- Deck machinery - Accommodation ladder winches; periodical review 1998. The standard was confirmed. The pending proposal for revision in CEN/TC300 was rejected from the CEN/TC300 work programme, and there was little support for revision during the periodical review.

2 Work items under consideration (10):
.1 ISO/DIS 15370, Ships and marine technology -- Low-location lighting on passenger ships, WG3, sub-stage 50.00. After discussion at its last meeting (Washington 2000-05-15/16), the Sub-committee achieved consensus on the resolution of a technical issue relating to one of the Annexes to the document, which was thereupon forwarded to ISO/CS for balloting as FDIS.
.2 ISO/DIS 15372, Ships and marine technology -- Inflatable rescue boats - Coated fabrics for inflatable chambers, WG1, sub-stage 50.99. ISO/CS has been provided with electronic versions of the graphics in the document in the specified format. Since there were no negative votes on the FDIS ballot, the document will next be published as a standard bypassing the FDIS procedure in accordance with TMB resolution 11/1998.
.3 ISO/DIS 15734, Ships and marine technology -- Hydrostatic release units, WG1, sub-stage 40.99. Conversion of graphics into ISO/CS specified format has been completed, and the document will soon be forwarded to ISO/CS for publication as a standard (bypassing the FDIS procedure in accordance with TMB resolution 11/1998).
.4 ISO/CD 15735, Ships and marine technology -- Service of inflatable liferafts - Training of servicing technicians and format of servicing records, WG1, sub-stage 40.20. DIS balloting will terminate 2000-12-20.
.5 ISO/CD 15736, Ships and marine technology -- Pyrotechnic distress signals -- Testing, WG1, sub-stage 20.99. CD registration and balloting pends completion of additional technical editing by Secretary.
.6 ISO/DIS 15738, Ships and marine technology -- Gas inflation systems for inflatable survival craft and marine evacuation systems, WG1, sub-stage 40.99. EDIS registration and balloting pends completion of evaluation of extensive technical comments and editing by Secretary.
