9.2 Progress on the work items selected as new work item proposals
(1) As a result of voting by SC 6 members on NWIP for the U.S.A.-proposed item "Standard for the Content, Quality and Updating of Electronic Chart System (ECS) Database", it was found that the provisions of 2.3.5 of the ISO Directives were not complied with and it was not agreed that the item should become an SC 6's work item. (Refer to doc. SC 6 N 36 Rev.)

Henceforth, the SC 6 Secretariat will send the voting result and comments submitted by various countries to Germany, proposer country of this item, and is considering to ask Germany to prepare a WD or CD.
