7.2 Internal stiffening members
7.2.1 Section modulus

l is the unsupported span, in metres;
s is the spacing of member, in metres;
σa is the design stress, (see Table 3), N/mm2
7.2.2 Moment of inertia
The moment of inertia for stiffening members, including the effective plating shall not be less than given by the following formula.

ETC is the mean of compressive/tensile modulus of material, N/mm2.
7.2.3 Proportions
Members with face bars:
maximum web depth to thickness 30 for FRP
45 for aluminium
60 for steel
Outstanding face bar to thickness and flat bar depth to thickness:
7 for FRP
