10 FUTURE MEETINGS ISO/TC 8 AG
The invitation for the 28th meeting by Romania is confirmed by Mr.Popescu and accepted with pleasure by the AG. The meeting venue is settled for 1999-05-04/05 in Galati, Romania. Details on the travel arrangements and hotel accommodation will be provided in the near future. The host country is asked to provide minutes and other secretarial assistance, since there is a vacancy in the secretariat. It is noted that ISO/TC 188 "Small craft" will hold a meeting in the same period in Oslo.
The 29th meeting will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on 1999-10-22, with the plenary meeting.

No Recommendations are prepared.
12 CLOSURE OF THE MEETING
The chairman thanks Mr.Alexander, who will retire (and disappear) in the near future, for his active contributions, both in ISO/TC 8 and during IMO meetings.
The parting secretary Mr.Van Elk and the Netherlands, are thanked for a job well done, above and beyond the call of duty.
Then the chairman closed the meeting.
