ACX RAFFLESIA 1,675-TEU Container Ship
The ACX RAFFLESIA completed in August 1997 at Toyohashi Works of Kanasashi Co., Ltd. to the order of Rozex Company Limited.
The vessel is designed for carrying containers to a total of 1,675 TEUs. The container space is divided into six holds fore of the engine room and one aft. Containers can be stowed 11 rows and four or five tiers on hatches and eight rows and five tiers in the holds. Some 40- or 45-foot containers can be stowed on the aft mooring deck. A total of 100 TEUs of air-cooled reefer containers can be stowed on the hatches and in No. 6 container hold. Dangerous cargo containers can be accommodated in Nos. 4 and 7 holds.
The vessel is equipped with auto-heel control system for safety during cargo handling and bow thruster for safe and easy maneuvering in harbor.
