ENERGY PRIDE 77,679-dwt Coal Carrier
Mitsui Engineering & Ship-building Co., Ltd. (MES) delivered a 77,679-dwt coal carrier, ENERGY PRIDE to Bouquet Shipping S.A. in July, 1998. ENERGY PRIDE, constructed and completed at MES Tamano Works, is designed for carrying coal with five double-skinned, long-sized cargo holds, which contributes to efficient cargo transport.
She is the second vessel following her sister, ENERGY PEGASUS delivered in April, 1998.
Its mooring equipment is especially reinforced to secure safety during cargo unloading even at ports facing the Japan Sea, where conditions become severe and rough in winter.
