OCEAN BREEZE 23,000-dwt Log/Bulk Carrier
The 23,000-dwt type OCEAN BREEZE was delivered in September 1998 to Ocean Wave Line S.A. by Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (CEBU), Inc.
The vessel is designed to have ample deadweight, hold capacity, box shape cargo holds (Nos. 2 & 3) and convenient stowage arrangement of cargo holds to accommodate bulk cargoes. Log, lumber and plywood, grain, ore, hot coils and general bulk cargoes can be loaded in all holds.
Wide and long enough cargo hatch covers hydraulically operated, endfolding and of flat top type are provided.
Hatch opening size： 19.20m long x 12.72m wide for No. 1 and 20.00m long x 17.52m wide for Nos. 2 to No. 4.
The vessel is qualified for timber freeboard with fixed and collapsible stanchions provided on both sides of upper deck for log loading.
The vessel is also equipped with four 30-ton electro-hydraulic deck cranes.
