DYNASTAR 53,793-dwt Woodchip Carrier
The 4,250,000 cft woodchip carrier DYNASTAR was delivered to Cygnet Bulk Carriers S.A. of Panama in August 1997 at Mizushima Works and Shipyard of Sanoyas Hishino Meisho Corporation.
The DYNASTAR is overpanamax type developed by Sanoyas with 37m beam, shallower draft with excellent propulsion performance and course keeping maneuverability.
Features
1. The cargo space is divided into six cargo holds with hopper bottom. The frame arrangement in the cargo space is designed for facilitation of woodchip loading and unloading.
2. Cargo handling equipment is 975-t/h woodchip unloading system consisting of three high-speed cranes, four hoppers and conveyers on deck.
3. End-folding hatch covers driven by hydraulic cylinders for opening and closing.
