New Type Inboard Information Display System

This is a display system intended to display various guiding information inboard.

The system consists of three blocks： a control unit, a personal computer and display units.

　

Features of the system include：

1)　Formatted information texts are registered in advance in the control unit, and can be readily displayed by just pressing relevant keys on the control unit.

2)　A maximum of 1,000 information texts of up to 160 characters each can be registered.

3)　By selecting entry from the personal computer (compatible with windows 95), any information text can be displayed.

4)　An information text is displayed in a scroll form.

5)　The display color can be varied for each character (a choice of red, green and orange).

6)　Three display units can individually display different screens.

7)　Guiding information texts, using LED units (16 dots by 128 dots) of 64 mm square in three colors (red, green and orange), are even more readable than on previous display units.

8)　Additional blocks can be installed if the client so requires.

1.　On board passenger ships, sightseeing vessels and ferries：

1)　Supply of extensive information to passengers,

2)　Supply of information specifically to persons handicapped in hearing, and

3)　Urgent communication in emergencies.
