2 Document Checklist
Use the following checklist to write better documents.
・Is the theme consistent throughout the document ?
・Does the heading accurately reflect the contents and improve readability ?
・Is the document well structured ? Is each part of the overall structure coherent ?
・Are the contents and layout of each paragraph well structured ?
・Is the writing too abstract ? Can it be expressed in a more specific manner ?
・Are any sentences too long ? Are too many points crammed into one sentence ?
・Are there any areas where the meaning is dubious or different interpretations may be made ?
・Are any areas over simplified ? Do areas such as this warrant more detailed description ?
・Are there any areas where elements of 5W1H have been forgotten to be mentioned ?
・Are the opinions and ideas expressed supported by factual information and experience ?
・Is there consistency in the expressions, style and format used ?
・Is the font consistent ? Are there any spelling errors ?
・Are graphs and charts used to illustrate the point more effectively ?
