3 Training and Supervision of Employees

 

The main duty of supervisions is to accomplish the work assigned to their unit with the assistance of their junior staff. Their own personal contribution to this is certainly relevant, but the ability to successfully delegate this work to their junior staff is even more important.

・Good leadership

 

4 Motivating Junior Staff

 

Society itself and the immediate situation surrounding government organizations are facing a period of rapid change. Supervisors must always be attentive to changes in society or the surrounding circumstances and attempt to develop more effective and efficient work operations in response to these. The entire staff of the organization must be motivated into actively seeking improvements to daily operations in response to these changes. The attitude and leadership ability of the supervisor is very important in the motivation of these staff.
