Since June 1997 Mr. Gao Zhaojie, an expert from China Classification Society was assigned on behalf of ISO/TC 8 to comment document - ISO/TR 13819-4: Anchoring system for MODU instead of Mr. Li Peichang, which was informed to Chairman and Secretariat by Mr. Li Peichang by a letter in June 1997. But Mr. Gao can not directly receive documents from ISO/TC 67/SC 7/WG 5/P 5, which sent documents still to Mr. Li Peichang, then Mr. Li transferred the documents to Mr. Gao, which took a lot of time.

State of affairs: SC 4/WG 1 invite some Chinese experts to discuss WD in March 1998 in China to improve it, but up to now WG 1 is still short of experts. China nominated convener Mr. Xu Yue, Denmark nominated expert Mr. Kaj Pedersen and SC 1 nominated expert Mr. K. Heinz, but Italy, Germany, Romania, Sweden, Ukraine and United Kingdom have not nominated their experts yet.
