The 15,188-GT passenger car ferry FERRY SUOU was completed in March 1996 at the Kanda Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and delivered to Hankyu Ferry K.K.
Features
1. FERRY SUOU is designed and constructed as twin screw, deisel driven passenger car ferry from Kobe to Sin-Moji.
2. A CPP, two bow thrusters and two stern thrusters are provided for good maneuverability.
3. A rubber mounting system is adopted for main and aux. engines to prevent noise and vibration.
4. A joistic system is installed for easy maneuvering in harbour.
5. Elevator for passengers and car lifter are installed.
