Koyo Dockyard Co. built and delivered a 4,434-TEU type Panamax container carrier of Singapore registry oil March 26, 1996 to Garland Shipping Pte, Ltd.
The vessel is a three row hatch cover type container ship having eight holds in total, with seven holds forward of the engine room and one hold aft. At the center of the hull she can carry 11 rows and 8 tiers of containers in the hold and 13 rows and 5 tiers of containers on the hatch covers.
Lashing bridges are arranged between hatches in order to improve the efficiency of unloading containers on the hatch cover.
In addition, 350FEU of refrigerated containers can be loaded on the hatch covers.
