YUEHAI, the 27th in Series of TESS 45 Handymax Bulk Carrier
The 45,632-dwt YUEHAI, 27th vessel in series of TESS 45 handymax bulk carrier, was delivered in July 1996 to Yuehai Shipping Inc. by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The TESS 45 handymax bulk carrier is so designed that to have ample deadweight and hold capacity, convenient stowage arrangement of cargo holds to accommodate bulk cargoes, and two bays of 42-foot cargoes. Heavy bulk cargoes can be loaded alternately in holds Nos. 1, 3 and 5, and 15tons hot rolled coils can be loaded in all holds to two- tiers.
Wide and long enough cargo hatch covers of hydraulically operated, end4olding and flat top type are provided.
The vessel is also equipped with four electro-hydraulic deck crane of 25.4tons.
To comply with DNV and EO classification standard, unmanned engine room machinery system is provided.
