Hitachi Zosen Corporation completed a 71,747-dwt bulk carrier at its Maizuru Works and delivered it to Dane Star S.A. and Palace Maritime Corporation in October 1995.
Features
1. The vessel is specially provided with four 25-ton electro-hydraulic deck cranes to enhance cargo handling efficiency.
2. The cargo space, which is divided into seven cargo holds has topside tanks and hoppered bottoms suitable for multiple bulk cargoes such as grain, ore and coal.
3. The HITACHI ZOSEN-MAN B & W 6S60MC main diesel engine achieves considerable fuel savings.
4. The Hitachi Zosen Super Stream Duct is installed astern to improve propulsive efficiency and contribute to energy conservation.
