The estimated ridership in various years is shown in Table 11.2-1. The passenger traffic has been assumed to grow 8.0% per annum until the year of 2011 and 4.1% per annum between 2011 and 2021. This is based on the assumption that the traffic in the year 2002 is half of its value in the year 2011 and growing to 150% of its value in 2011 by the year 2021. The passenger traffic is assumed to be constant after the year of 2021.
