m depth, and 1,152 station piles (24 stations x 48 pieces) of 1m diameter and 20 m depth, or a total of 5,288 piles (not including special structure piles), according to data supplied by the UB group.

The number of piles per machine will therefore be 481 (5,288 piles divided by 11 machines).

The appendix 10.2-1 indicates that it takes one day (24 hours) to install a cast-in-place pile in the SCTH Flyover CW project if work is done in three shifts (eight workers per shift). This includes the processes of excavation, insertion of reinforcing bar cages and casting concrete.

Therefore, the number of days required to install all cast-in-place piles is:

One piece per day x 481 pieces x 1.1 (allowance) = 529 days, or 17.6 months

Therefore, we assume:

6 months for preparation (including arranging detours, temporary transfers of utility facilities, and necessary negotiations on design)

18 months for installing cast-in-place piles

6 months for girder installation by the incremental launching truss girder(ILTG) method

(Total net construction period = installation of cast-in-place piles + ILTG work = 24 months)

6 months for clearing after construction (including paving streets and restoring public facilities)

Namely 24 months for net construction period.

10.3 Track

If we assume that each party consisting of about 40 workers executes the track construction under 3-shift per day working system, and further assume that each party works 25 days per month, each party can complete about 3 km of the track construction per month.

If 4 parties work for the main track between Mysore Road Station and Binamangala
