(2) Track maintenance equipment

Details of the track maintenance equipment are shown in able 9.3.3-7.

 

(3) Track

A track of a lower rank than tracks on main line are used

Rail weight :45 kg/m

Sleepers : 1200 pieses/km

Fastening : Pandorol-type

Ballast : the same as that on main line

 

(4) Turnout

All turnout are 8 # simple turnouts.

 

(5) Electric power facilities

The contact rail length is set at 5.8 km in total, based on the precondition that contact rail will not be laid in some parts of the repair shop.

As the power source for lighting facilities in the depot and machine in the workshop, a power room is established in the depot. An exclusive line will branch of from the high-tension power distribution line for main Line and run to the power room. High-tension current is transformed to low tension current at the power room and is supplied to the above facilities and machines.

As for the cost of the electric power facilities, unit prices of 6000 v high-tension power distribution facilities in Japan are referred to.

Direct current of 750V is supplied to the contact rail in the depot though a line which branch off from the main line. Sectioning disconnecting switches are installed, in order to divide the feeder
