training methods have been changed or supplemented.
Shore based demand includes more than a ship's officer who quits his
seafaring career. It asks for practical shipboard experience with additional (theoretical
and practical) knowledge of management, and logistic's, depending on the need of his or
her future employer. Shore based demand became so divers that it is almost impossibe for
one institution to offer every expertise and ful fil every wish. This is only possible
through linked Educational Institutions (vertical and horizontal), each offering its
expertise.
