GK Series of Vertical Water Tube Type Composite Boilers
Water tubes of a composite boiler are often arranged in a circle or in some other peculiar shapes on account of the limitation of drum strength, and the resultant difficulty in soot removal with a soot blower has long been pointed out.
The company has worked out a high-pressure air soot blower embodying a new concept, which contributes to more effective soot removal.
■Features
1. Branch-shaped fixed soot blowers are arranged in different parts of the upper and lower tube plates, and high-pressure air is blown in the axial direction of the water tubes. The blown air has a long reach to enable soot removal in a large effective area.
2. As the lower soot blowers work on lower tube plates as well, soot having accumulated on the tube plates is blown up and led to the flue.
3. Either fixed or rotating air soot blowers are arranged in the middle part of water tubes to remove soot in that area.
4. Since no water is used at all, there is no fear of low-temperature corrosion.
