There is no organization or agency to carry out inspection except the Government and the ship classification societies.

The Register is a state organization of ships' technical supervision, which is responsible for carrying out supervision and servey of ships and materials, equipment etc. there is a "Regulation for Servey of Marine Products", it is available to conduct type approval of marine products.

In China, CCS is the sole classification society authorized by the Chinese Government to carry out statutory surveys of ships, offshore installations, marine products and contains.
