The greater of the response points measured in this test and that measured for the same specimen in the reproducibility test shall be designated Dmax and the lesser shall be designated Dmin.
For the equipment installed in open decks, etc., the environmental condition of -25°±3℃ shall be applied.
NOTE For detailed test methods, refer to Test Ab of IEC 60068-2-1.
5.2.10.2 Requirements
No abnormality shall be observed. The equipment shall operate satisfactorily. The ratio of the response points Dmax/Dmin shall not be greater than 1,26.
5.2.11 Dry heat test (IEC60098-504/ 5)
5.2.11.1 Test procedure
With the equipment at an operating condition, apply the environmental condition of +70°±2℃ for 2 hours. The response point of the specimen shall be measured in accordance with 5.1.3 after recovery. The greater of the response points measured in this test and that measured for the same specimen in the reproducibility test shall be designated Dmax and the lesser shall be designated Dmin.
NOTE For detailed test methods, refer to Test Bb of IEC 60068-2-2.
5.2.11.2 Requirements
No abnormality shall be observed. The equipment shall operate satisfactorily. The ratio of the response points Dmax/Dmin shall not be greater than 1,26.
5.2.12 Damp heat test (IEC60098-504/ 5)
5.2.12.1 Test procedure
Apply two cycles of the environmental condition of temperature of +55±2℃ and relative humidity of 95% ± 5% for 12 hours. The equipment is operating condition during complete first cycle and switched off during second cycle except for the operation test. During the first 2 hours of the first cycle at the environmental condition and during the last 2 hours of the second cycle at the environmental condition, reduced function test shall be carried out in accordance with 5.1.4 and the response point of the specimen shall be measured in accordance with 5.1.3 after recovery.
