1. Types and certification of aluminium and steel for ship construction;

2. Sea spectra and wind conditions for strength calculations of ships and other marine structures;

3. Protocols for validation of computer programmes for the calculations of structural strength of ships and other marine structures.

4. In connection with the above, Chairman and Advisory Group should engage in informal discussions with IMO, the Chairperson of ISO/TC67, other interested international organizations, professional and trade industry groups, and research institutes for the purpose of determining the best engineering, technical, and application approaches in promulgating such standards.

4. 上記に関連して、かかる規格の公布に当たり、最善の工学上の手段、技術的対応、適用の手段を決定するため、議長及び諮問グループは、IMO, ISO/TC67の議長、その他関係国際組織、専門的グループ、通商産業グループ及び研究機関と非公式打ち合わせに入ることとする。

1. Undertake a survey to determine size of the market;

2. Obtain and review copy of regulations promulgated by the Government of The Netherlands;

3. Obtain and review of a copy of MCA code of the UK;

4. Based on the results of the above, determine areas of current coverage and critical areas still in need of standardization activity.

2. オランダ政府により公布された規則の写しを取得し、かつ、検討する。

3. 英国のMCA（Maritime and Coastguard Agency）コードの写しを入手し、かつ、検討する。

4. 上記結果に基づき、最近の“メガヨット”の適用範囲の決定、規格化作業を今後必要とする、決め手となる範囲の区分を決定する。
