−Publication of Promotional Periodical in English
The association publishes this promotional periodical in English, highlighting the latest technologies and products from the Japanese ship machinery industry in an effort to make them extensively known to foreign shipowners and shipbuilders. Two issues are scheduled for 2002.
JSMEA'S Web Site Now Has Search Function
JSMEA'S web site now offers a search function, using the member's name and the product item (320 items listed) as keywords. A search by product item will provide a list of companies manufacturing that item, while a search by company name will yield a list of all the products available from that company.
JETRO London Now Has New Director
The Ship Machinery Department of Japan Ship Centre (JETRO, London), taken up in Nos.
72 and 79 of Jsmea News, has had a new director since March.
The department is now headed by Mr. Akikado Taguchi.
