The Sasakawa Fellowship Program
 
SYLFF Program:
The program supports the education of final year master's students and doctoral students with high potential for future leadership, both in public life and private endeavors. Fellowships are awarded to outstanding students in social sciences and humanities fields, as well as business, law, management and economics.
 
Selection Process:
Information about the SYLFF fellowships is published on the Internet in English and in Polish. Announcements are also made every year through the university e-mail network. Selection is primarily based on the scientific level of the proposed project, but due attention is also given to the leadership potential of the applicants. Interviews are conducted with all the applicants. To date one hundred twenty-one (121) fellowships have been awarded.

SYLFF Program:
The program supports the education of graduate students with high potential for future leadership. Fellowships are awarded to graduate students studying international politics, market economy, cross-culture communication, and Japanese studies.
 
Selection Process:
Fellowships are awarded to PhD students in the social sciences and humanities disciplines. The selection criteria are: academic excellence, communication skills, and leadership potential. Seven (7) fellowships have been awarded to date.
