1. Deliberation/discussion made by 19 Filipino participants.
2. Highlights of Discussions/Agreements:
2.1 Ms. Sonia B. Malaluan was selected as the coordinator for the Philippines.
2.2 The coordinator will have a term of 3 years.
2.3 The coordinator will act as a liaison officer between the Filipino WMU Fellows and the Central and Regional Network, as well as amongst the national network members.

3. The overall concept including the objectives, the contents of the website, and the structure of the national network as contained in the presentation by Ms. Malaluan on the proposed networking in the Philippines, will be adopted.
4. Action Plan
- Organizational meeting to be held on 24th August 2001.
- Initial contribution of members shall be P500.
- Officers and members of the Board of Directors were selected with the same term of office as the coordinator (3 years).
- MARINA shall provide the space for the office.
- The name of the association should be patterned/harmonized with the global network.

5. Requirements
Need to seek assistance or support from SOF for the provision of initial requirements; ie. computers and office equipment.
