Mitsubishi Selfjector SJ130FH
Introduction
In recent years, construction of mega-containerships has been proposed to meet the rising demand for marine transport and to enhance fleet productivity. The power outputs of main engines are steadily increasing along with this trend.
At the same time, regarding the properties of marine fuel, the permissible limit of FCC (Fluid Catalytic Cracking) catalyst addition is being reviewed and adulteration with waste oil, polypropylene and water is being reported, all pointing to the ever increasing importance of oil purifiers. In this context, Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd., based on experience it has built up through the delivery of more than 60,000 oil purifiers, has developed the compact yet highperformance large Selfjector SJ130FH (Hidens specification/compatible with high density oil) adapted for the main engines of mega-containerships.
Features
(1) Adaptability to Large Volume Separation
-The separating capacity is 25% greater than the previous biggest model, the SJ100FH.
(2) Enhanced Centrifugal Efficiency
-The 10% enhanced centrifugal effect (over the SJ100FH) ensures an increased removal rate of fine particles containing FCC catalyst.
(3) Compatibility with Space Saving
- Despite its large capacity, the compactly designed SJ130FH occupies no more space than the SJ100FH.
(4) Reliable and Durable Bowl and Drive Mechanism
-This oil purifier, inheriting the design concept of the SJ-F series, has excellent revolution stability.
(5)The discharge mechanism is a pilot valve type excelling in sludge discharging performance.
(6) By changing the setting on the control board, an appropreate mode can be selected out of partial discharging, total discharging, or the combination discharging.
(7) The overhaul interval is two years or 16,000 hours.
