既存の価値観に捉われることなく常に時代を先取りしたテーマでアイデアと情報を創造・発信することを目指し、「海に生きるアジア」「世界都市東京」「国を造る、国を超える」および「文化・娯楽産業」の4つを当面のモチーフとして、多種多様な人に意見交換と発表の場を提供し、そこから得られた情報や叡知を広く発信しています。虎ノ門DOJO(道場)はその一つで毎週開催しています。

　Another aim of the foundation is to create and disseminate information and ideas on themes that consistently challenge existing values and are at the forefront of discovery. The four themes - Maritime Asia; World City Tokyo; Nation Building, Moving Beyond the Nation State: and Culture Entertainment Industries - form the motif of information dissemination activity for the foreseeable future. Individuals from various walks of life are engaged in the exchange of ideas and provided forums to present their views. Information and wisdom gained from these activities are also disseminated. A weekly open forum -The Tokyo Foundation Toranomon Dojo - is an integral part of this effort.
